So I've seen a lot of the preview for Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and I think I'm excited. There are a few minor deviations that stand out. Ford Prefect is black, Zaphod Beeblebrox has only one head, the Heart of Gold doesn't look like a running shoe, things like that. But the one that makes me a bit nervous is Marvin the Paranoid Android looking like a deformed Sony robot dog. I always figured he would look like Twiki from Buck Rogers. Oh well, it sounds like they got the voice right.

I'm not sure if this material will transfer to the big screen very well, but I am forcing myself to be optimistic because it's been a while since I saw a half-decent movie.


Also, the comic is now re-energized. Unfortunately it took the Pope's death for me to rediscover my passion for it. Well, unfortunate for him at least.
